@micke bergling: thanks Micke, it's a proper amount of snow. I know in Sweden this is probably regular stuff, but it hasn't snowed like this here for twenty years. And my snowboard is in Switzerland (ho hum)

Wow Tim looks like a christmas card. Is this taken recently we have been hearing all about the bad weather over there. Keep warm and dry.

@jamesy: Thanks Debbie, was taken yesterday, it's a spectacular amount of snow (about 25cm) almost alpine-like. You can't see the people in this pic, but it's just so busy cos the schools are out and a lot of people aren't working. My nice puffy jacket is keeping me warm whilst taking photos, the camera does need intensive and regular TLC tho.

I've been wanting to see a spectacular 'heaps pf snow in the uk' shot, as I've been reading all about it , and here it is. Fantastic, like magic it is. And here's us in the middle of a heatwave.

@lisa v: Hi Lisa, it's nice to have real weather for a change, as opposed to the usual overcast "grey". People have been skiing and snowboarding, sadly my stuff is in Switzerland (boo hoo).
So you're in a heatwave eh, that explains the visits to the beach :o) Must say you're pics do look very parched.
