London's Tower Bridge
Dark object emerging from the water in the foreground is a wooden mooring post. Water is made unnaturally still by using a very long exposure.
very well done tim, picture perfect this shot, love that effect with the water. What is the bullet shaped building in the background? i keep seeing that about

@lisa v: thanks Lisa, yea I like the water effect, I had to put about 3 neutral density filters on the camera to make it dark enough for the daytime long exposure.
The bullet building (hmm) is the multi-award winning 30 St Mary's Axe, sometimes called the gherkin (for obvious reasons) http://www.30stmaryaxe.com/index2.asp, designed by Foster and partners.
What do you think of it? do you like it? I'm not sure. It looks like it belongs in Dubai rather than London. very pretty but does'nt quite fit in with its surrounds.

@lisa v: Yep Lisa I think it's pretty amazing. Mind you I can see where your coming from as far as it "fitting in", there are some very imposing, new buildings planned for the area, so I think it'll become more "at home" in the future. You're not wrong, It'd fit right into the Dubai skyline.
